Biography: Hey! My name is Jody Cox and I am the Reading Specialist at THEE Houston
Elementary School! This year will be my 27th year in education! I have taught all grades K-6
EXCEPT kindergarten. I’ve spent 24 years in the classroom and this is my third year as a
Reading Specialist. I have taught in California, Mississippi, and Alabama. I have a passion
for teaching and love to see all kids learn! I have two children, Morgan and Sam. Morgan
graduated from Mississippi State and now works in sales. Sam will be beginning college
this year at UAB! I am so proud to be a part of Talladega City Schools where it is always a
GREAT day to be a TIGER!!!!
